I bought this paddle about two months ago. I play around 3-4 times per week, high intermediate level (3.75+). The balance is great and it feels good with some solid spin ability and power.
The problem is the edgeless design. The outside guard on mine has already split at the edges and I don't know how much longer it'll last. Really the durability is just not comparable to full edge paddles and I think I will need to replace it much sooner than it's lifespan if the whole front comes off.
Would not recommend purchasing if you ever hope to dig balls that could scrape the edges of the paddle. At this price point I was hoping it would last longer.
Holbrook is very responsive and dedicated to customer satisfaction. The one problem I had was corrected immediately and with pleasant communication. Thanks Holbrook!
Wish I could give a review but new paddle still stuck with UPS somewhere.
This is my third Holbrook paddle. I enjoy the ease of moving from forehand to backhand with all of the paddles—the weight is ideal for me. The power and pop has also been a plus when playing with these paddles. I went to this paddle for more control as I was going to be playing in a tournament. The good news is we took home gold! As a result, I strongly recommend this paddle. I found improved control without sacrificing the power and pop.
Extreme light weight distribution for power volley and responsive for defence . Only if it can be better on control and expend on sweet spot will be the best paddle
