Look at and tried a number of paddles before purchasing this paddle and must say it over delivered for the price point. Excellent control and weight and medium power fits my game well and is perfect for mid-level players. Highly recommend for the player looking to "UP" their game.
I have been amazed by Holbrook's customer service. I am amending a prior review of the MavPro based on how well Holbrook responded to a problem that I had with my 6 month old paddle. When I bought the MavPro I liked it a lot for spin and control. I am a beginning player, 3.0. I noticed a change in sound and feel starting about 3 weeks ago. The paddle delaminated, a disappointment after 6 months of moderate play at beginner levels. I was sure that I had no recourse, I could not locate my receipt and I wasn't sure of my exact purchase date. Holbrook volunteered that the paddle was still under warranty, located my sales receipt and offered me the choice of a refund, replacement or store credit. They said that they stand behind their family name and products 100% and they did. I now have a new paddle on its way and I am fully convinced that my issue is an anomaly, but that Holbrook's commitment to customer satisfaction is genuine
This paddle is really a great find & priced extremely well. Used it in two of my leagues & placed 1st & 2nd so very happy with the way it performs and handles, would recommend this paddle for anyone starting out that wants something that won't break the bank but still performs well.
I have tried all of the upper series paddles from Holbrook and this is definitely my favorite one! Great control w/ decent power!
Best paddle I've ever used. Power, control and the spin that is created is 2nd to none. I'm a Holbrook lifer!
