from 695 reviewsThis paddle is light giving me fast hands. Light does not mean lacking power. It has plenty. This paddle allows me to hit placement with accuracy but still has plenty of power for drives. The surface facilities great soon. I highly recommend this paddle for excelling the player to the next level. It’s my go to paddle. Being a 4.0 player I need a paddle that provides consistent shots. This paddle fits the bill. Love it.
I am new to Pickleball this past year, so I had no idea a paddle that has this much feel, and basically a full face/paddle sweet spot was out there. I thought the long handle would enable me to use too much wrist, but it doesn't. It gives me more control. Great Paddle! Everyone should have one in their bag!
The folks across the net watched as the ball changed direction in the air..they had no chance for a return.. described the shot as terminal..love this bat..😉
Great Paddle! Excellent control, feels great in your hand, and looks great! A really really smooth paddle to play with!
I've owned many paddles in my 6 years of playing...most I've ended up selling as they did not suit my game, or played differently than advertised. With the Power Pro, it was within the first 10 minutes of playing that I knew this paddle was KILLER.
I already have excellent power in my game, but this thing has added even more sting especially in hand battles. On the touch side, I am able to dink with precision and spin given the sandpaper-like surface.
Yup, quickly becoming my favorite paddle in the arsenal. My only regret was waiting this long to buy my first Holbrook, I've always wanted to try one.
I have been amazed by Holbrook's customer service. I am amending a prior review of the MavPro based on how well Holbrook responded to a problem that I had with my 6 month old paddle. When I bought the MavPro I liked it a lot for spin and control. I am a beginning player, 3.0. I noticed a change in sound and feel starting about 3 weeks ago. The paddle delaminated, a disappointment after 6 months of moderate play at beginner levels. I was sure that I had no recourse, I could not locate my receipt and I wasn't sure of my exact purchase date. Holbrook volunteered that the paddle was still under warranty, located my sales receipt and offered me the choice of a refund, replacement or store credit. They said that they stand behind their family name and products 100% and they did. I now have a new paddle on its way and I am fully convinced that my issue is an anomaly, but that Holbrook's commitment to customer satisfaction is genuine
Holbrook made it right and was very helpful
I have had this paddle for about a month now and I’m really impressed. Resets and drives are amazing. You can really notice the grip on the ball. I used the aero for a lesson and realized I should have left Joola a long time ago.
I bought this paddle as kind of an afterthought during Black Friday sales, when I purchased a dozen paddles from different brands to find some new "mains" to play with.
I wasn't blown away by its presentation (it has a bit of a cheap look and feel IMO and the carbon fiber seems a lighter colored look than my other RCF paddles that makes it seem lower quality) but having played with it for a couple months, it's made it near the top of my rotation as is one of my three go-to paddles for outdoor play.
What I love about it is feels like it has plenty of power, but doesn't have the stiff feels of many thermoformed paddles; it has a soft, controlled power and a very stable sweet spot. It is definitely elongated but is light and nimble enough to play quicker in the hand—more like a hybrid paddle. Also, they have some of the best graphics/logo in the industry (I'd like to see a Power Pro with a black edge guard though).
My main feedback is around price; at $130, these would be extremely competitive with the likes of thermoformed offerings from Vatic, 11SIX24, Versix, Pikkl, Ronbus, etc—and they would get my full-throated recommendation to everyone I play with. At $150, they just get lost in the see of dozens of other midrange brands and don't have enough distinct tech to stand out.
Hope Holbrook continues to iterate (maybe a widebody or true hybrid shape power pro?) and excited to see where they go!
I bought the Pro-Aero Metallic 16mm and have been playing with it for a month, 5-6 times a week. As a 4.5 to 5.0 player who is on the court with many similarly rated players, I can safely say this paddle does it all - a fantastic balance between power and control, pop off the face and touch at the NVZ. My two most recent prior paddles (Selkirk Luxx and then the Six Zero Black Diamond) are awesome as well, but the Luxx traded power and pop for control, so I moved to the Six Zero. The Pro-Aero Metallic plays similarly to the Black Diamond but with less transition time (a shorter learning curve) and with a bit more pop and bite off the face. You’ll need some decent topspin to help keep the ball in play but there’s plenty of grip to get the ball spinning. In short, with the right strokes, you will not be disappointed with the Pro-Aero Metallic.
The spin on my new Aero T 16mm is out of this world. I have power and control with this racquet and it has replaced my J2K as my main paddle. I am even joining your ambassador program after this purchase! Great job Holbrook!!!!
Great paddle and great service!
Wow! From the moment i started playing with the Aero T paddle I loved it. Great combination of power, spin, and control and I noticed a significant improvement in my hand speed. I had been playing with the Joola Perseus 2 and the Aero T blows it away. Very, very happy with my purchase.
I ordered a Holbrook paddle from Canada. I knew there would be small fee going across the border but I was stocked when I got a bill from UPS. They wanted a $78 brokerage fee and told me they might discard the package if I didn’t pay the fee. Boy did that ever feel like blackmail! I reported this to Holbrook customer service and they immediately sent me a discount which more than covered the brokerage fee. I was so surprised and grateful. I was feeling awful and ripped off, by UPS, but ended up feeling very good about Holbrook. Holbrook makes excellent paddles and their customer service makes it easy to choose Holbrook.
My top 3 to go paddle!!!
It grabs the ball securely and places the ball to where I want it. That's how unique this paddle is. Powerful spin, manageable control and the power depends on my strength.
